At Valo, Maya leads the company’s real-world data (RWD) strategy in partnership with key stakeholders in the technology, translational biology, and clinical development teams. She drives Valo's vision for real-world data forward, maximizing the impact its drug discovery pipeline and patient care. Maya leads strategic planning, development, and implementation of a unified RWD strategy, and serves as the relationship and alliance manager for health systems and data partners to drive successful and impactful collaboration. As a leader in Valo's Business Development and Innovation team, Maya contributes to the determination and establishment of strategic business initiatives and opportunities that align and complement Valo's biopharma and technology strategy.

Prior to Valo, Maya served as the Chief Operating Officer of the innovation arm of Maccabi Healthcare Services in Israel. In her role, Maya led collaborations with global tech, pharmaceutical, and HealthTech startup companies, leveraging real-world data and creating innovative products and algorithms that directly impacted patients' lives and healthcare services.

Before Maccabi Healthcare Services, Maya worked at the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel as the Director of Strategic Projects, focusing on strategy, open data, and the vibrant Israeli startup ecosystem. Maya also served as a Parliamentary Advisor at the Israeli Parliament. Her early career involved working as an attorney at the State Attorney's Office in the Ministry of Justice of Israel.

Maya holds an MBA from INSEAD (France) and an LL.B. and B.A. in Law and Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
