At Valo, Jennifer is responsible for developing and implementing Company IP strategy and counseling executive management relating to the acquisition, protection, licensing, and enforcement of IP rights. Jennifer has extensive experience as a first-chair trial lawyer in complex, high-stakes litigation in patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and contract disputes involving intellectual property.

As a litigator, Jennifer’s noteworthy cases included a jury verdict of patent infringement resulting in over $34 million in damages, a jury verdict of willful misappropriation of trade secrets with damages of over $900 million, and the successful defense of a university against a patent licensee seeking expanded rights of sponsored research and license agreements. She was named one of the “Top 25 Women Leaders in Biotechnology of 2020” by The Healthcare Technology Report, a “Rising Star” (40 under 40) in 2015 by the National Law Journal in Washington, D.C., profiled as a Law360 “Rising Star” in 2016, and named to Benchmark Litigation’s “Under 40 Hot List” in 2016 and 2017.
