Harsha Ramalingam, MBA
Harsha Ramalingam is a non-executive director on the board of Valo Health and the president of Ramalingam Consulting, LLC. He is an independent senior advisor and certified executive coach with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he advises senior leaders on ecommerce, artificial intelligence, digital platforms, and digital business transformation. Prior to this, he was a non-executive director on the board of Bed Bath & Beyond until June 2021 and on the board of Intralinks Holdings, Inc. until it was acquired by Synchronoss Technologies, Inc. in January 2017. He also serves as a member of the Information Technology Advisory Board (ITAB) of the United Nations World Food Programme.
Harsha has held a variety of senior executive positions at leading technology companies. At Amazon, where he spent nearly seven years, he was global VP of Amazon's technology platforms and member of Amazon's consumer leadership team, reporting to the CEO of Amazon's worldwide consumer business. He led the eCommerce Platform, Foundational Technologies, CIO, and CISO functions, globally, for Amazon and its subsidiaries. His responsibilities extended to building the platforms that enabled Amazon to transact, manage, and secure its businesses. Prior to Amazon, he was the founding VP of Technology, Products, and Operations of EMC's SaaS/Cloud Services business. His career before EMC includes leadership experience with start-ups as well as with mature pioneers such as IBM.
Harsha is an inventor on over 65 issued US patents. He received his B.Tech in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and executive education at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is a certified International Systemic Team Coach by the Academy of Executive Coaching, and a BCG certified executive coach.
